A Noodlehead Gathered Clutch for moi

I am such a selfish sewer. Mostly, I sew for me. And my boys, I suppose. But in this case, all for me.

You've likely seen the Noodlehead Gathered Clutch tutorial before. (You know Noodlehead, right? If not, go read up here!) It's a classic, I'd say. I saw it eons ago. Always knew I'd get around to it. So glad I finally did, and I am pretty sure this is going to become my go-to when-I-need-a-cute-gift-for-a-friend project.

I made this a few weeks ago during a nap time. So it isn't really a birthday present, but I'm thinking of it that way.

Happy 31st birthday, to me! And today will be happy, too. I know that because (and I hate to go all cornball on you, but sometimes a girl has got to go there) this is just flat out the most blessed, happiest time of my life. Maybe this will indeed be my best birthday ever.
